BRIGHT CHALLENGE ENTERPRISE

WHAT IS IT?
a gamified project management experiential training
EXPERIENCE | FAST LEARNING | TEAM BUILDING
The Bright Challenge Enterprise is the in-house version of Portugal’s largest Project Management experimental training event, the Bright Challenge.
The Enterprise version is built around 3 main dimensions:
- Experience – Making use of the competition and simulated environment to exponentiation an enriching and unforgettable training experience
- Fast Learning – Providing a training experience filled with complex scenarios that explore common Project Management traps and mistakes by replicating real-life corporate events
- Team Building – Empower team-building by creating multi-disciplinary teams within the company, thus transforming the experience into a catalyser for interdepartmental networking
WHATS IS DIFFERENT FROM THE BRIGHT CHALLENGE ANNUAL EVENT
For those familiar with the annual Bright Challenge event, the Enterprise version has a few differences:
- The Simultrain® simulation is spread out over the course of two days.
- Each individual simulation cycle is followed by a debriefing session including theoretical content relevant to what was experienced in the previous cycle and its eventual transposition to the specific context of the company.
- At the end of the simulation, there is one additional team competition based on the identification and presentation of lessons learned in the context of the company, the winner being selected by their peers.
TO WHOM IS THE EXPERIENCED DIRECTED
The Bright Challenge Enterprise is designed for Project Managers and Stakeholders relevant to the company’s projects.
We recommend that each individual 4-member team is assembled using the following criteria:
- Each member should belong to different departments within the organization, or built around people that don’t usually work together
- The team members should have diversified experience levels
- Different hierarchical positions within the company
- Diversified backgrounds
Each team should aim to the highest possible degree of diversity.
By using this criteria, the benefits of such a team-based simulation are:
- Promote team-building – teams have members from different areas within the company
- Practice teamwork – team-based decision making
- Share of knowledge – each member’s professional experience is shared within the team
- Promote efficient decision-making – always racing against the clock
